In effect from 19. 9. 2026.
Who is selling
The seller is Vladimír Uhrin, Komenského ul. 268/1, 945 01 Komárno, Slovenská republika, company ID (IČO) 37 555 120. I am not registered for VAT — prices are final.
You can reach me at [email protected]. I reply within 14 days at the latest, usually much sooner.
Trading is supervised by the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia).
What you are buying
You are buying one year of access to the „Practice problems" section on formiax.com. Access lasts 12 months from the day of payment.
With access the exercises open straight away — no intro video and no ad to sit through first. The numbers in the tasks are generated, so you can practise them over and over.
This is a digital service; you receive no physical goods. The calculators, formulas and explanations themselves stay free and need no account.
Access does not renew automatically and nothing will be charged after a year. When the 12 months are up, the exercises simply return to the free mode.
Price and payment
The price is €5 for 12 months (that works out at €0.42 a month). It is the final price including all taxes and charges.
Payment is by card and is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) — your card number never reaches me, I only learn that the payment went through.
How the contract is formed
The contract is formed when the payment completes. Your access unlocks at that moment and you receive an order confirmation with the invoice by e-mail.
You need an account on formiax.com to buy — access is tied to that account.
All you need is an ordinary web browser and an internet connection; nothing is installed.
Invoice
You get the invoice by e-mail right after payment, and you can download it from your account at any time. It is issued in euros without VAT, as I am not registered for VAT.
If you need company details on the invoice, fill them in during checkout; they can also be added afterwards — just write to [email protected].
Withdrawing within 14 days
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded, that is from payment.
You do not lose this right by using the access in the meantime — I do not ask you to waive it in exchange for immediate access.
The easiest way is here: withdraw from the contract here. Fill in the form and confirm it; I will acknowledge receipt by e-mail straight away. Writing to [email protected] is equally valid.
The deadline is met if you send the notice by the last, 14th day.
I refund you within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, by the same means you paid — so back to your card. Access ends at that point.
If something does not work
I am responsible for the service working as described here. If it does not — the exercises will not start, access did not unlock, the page throws an error — write to [email protected] and describe what happens and on what device.
I will settle the complaint within 30 days. Depending on the fault I will either fix it, reduce the price proportionately, or refund you.
Availability
I do my best to keep the site running around the clock, but I cannot guarantee one hundred per cent availability — maintenance is sometimes needed and outages beyond my control can happen.
If the service were unavailable for a long period, you are entitled to a proportionate refund.
The exercises may be extended and improved over time. The scope of your access will not shrink — if I ever had to remove a part, you would hear about it by e-mail in advance.
How you may use the content
The access is meant for you personally (or for your class, if you are a teacher using it in lessons). Do not share your sign-in details with other people.
You may print the exercises and explanations and use them for learning or teaching. You may not bulk-download them, resell them, or publish them as your own content.
In case of a serious breach — for example sharing one account with many people — I may end the access and refund the remaining part of the price.
If we cannot agree
Write to me first at [email protected] — most things are settled in a single message.
If you are not satisfied with how I handled your complaint, you can turn to alternative dispute resolution. The body is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Central Inspectorate, Department of International Relations and Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution, Bajkalská 21/A, p. p. 29, 827 99 Bratislava 27, Slovakia, [email protected] or [email protected]. Filing is free of charge.
Personal data
How I handle your data is described in the privacy notice. Invoices have to be kept for 10 years by law, even if you delete your account.
Changes and governing law
I may change these terms. Purchases already made are always governed by the wording in force at the time of purchase — a change never takes anything away retroactively.
The relationship is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, in particular Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection and the Civil Code. If you live in another EU country, you additionally keep the protective rules of your country that cannot be excluded by contract.
